The best combos we've tested have an easy fold that's one-handed and strong enough to be used on long strolls. They are also easy to maneuver and glide effortlessly over uneven surfaces. Some combos can only be linked and disengaged by straps. This could be a bit like a second step, and can make it harder for parents to secure their car seat correctly.

The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however is a bit difficult to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors as well as using straps to protect the bottom of the carrier. It's also very heavy, which means it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base and then remove it from there.

This is a simple procedure when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out all the individual pieces. The majority of these models have an easy process for attaching and removing the toddler seat, as well.
